Snack for thought: Our brains aren't meant for the amount of negativity, trauma highlights and other input we get in a day in the USA. It's more important than ever to recognize our limitations so that we don't overdo ourselves. If we can limit the influx of information then we need to do so. That might look like unplugging from social media, reading instead of watching news, doing things to improve our sleep in order to wake up more refreshed, and focusing on how to empower yourself to achieve the things you might be able to reasonably accomplish. Who can you team up with to accomplish the things you want to? What do you need to let go of so that it doesn't consume you?
